Explore Ginger Restaurant

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at Central Market, Ginger Restaurant offers a delightful fusion of halal Thai cuisine that promises to satisfy your cravings for bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you are a fan of traditional Thai food or looking for something with a local twist, this restaurant has a diverse menu designed to please various tastes. The signature dishes feature a blend of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors typical of Thai food, while maintaining a Halal standard to accommodate all guests.

One of the standout features of Ginger Restaurant is the quality of its food. Patrons rave about the freshness of the ingredients and the taste of the dishes. For instance, the chicken chop with black pepper sauce is a popular choice, with its well-balanced sauce that is mild enough for those who prefer a less spicy experience, yet flavorful enough to complement both the chicken and fries. The restaurant prides itself on fast and friendly service, with staff members going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant dining experience, even offering warm water to customers without them having to ask.

For those who enjoy a peaceful dining environment, Ginger Restaurant is a welcome escape from the more open-air eateries in the area, where smoking can often be an issue. It provides a comfortable, air-circulated space, making it an ideal choice for anyone who prefers a more relaxed atmosphere while enjoying their meal. The restaurant’s location within Central Market also offers visitors the opportunity to explore the nearby cultural and heritage shops, making it a great spot for both dining and shopping.

The restaurant’s setting adds to the overall experience, allowing diners to enjoy delicious meals in an indoor space, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city streets.

Omg I just wished someone from the restaurant could carry me to my car right after eating here If craving for good thai food this is definitely a destination to visit. Amazing Thai food of the highest quality and a reasonable price. In my opinion, this is the best Thai restaurant in town. The atmosphere, the taste of the food, the service, and the price are so cheap that I was shocked. Nice atmosphere and the tables are not close together like some restaurants. The waitress serving were very polite and helpful. Very nice and cozy place with authentic menu. Recommended dishes: Ayam bakar padang chicken and desert:- water chestnut with jackfruit Finally, it is a Thai restaurant that makes me feel like I am eating real Thai food. Thank you for my darling Rose mommy who brought me to this restaurant

By no means am I saying this is real Thai never had real thai food before.I have gone here for 3 days now for lunch and dinner. The food is good and fresh for what I ordered the chicken chop with black pepper sauce. The sauce is not too spicy, and it goes well both with chicken and fries. Yes cost is more than other places in the area but if you don't want people smoking around while you eat it's worth the extra RM all other food places are outside and most are open air so people smoke. Service has been great and very kind people here. I guess some people don't understand they are in another country and service is not the same here as they get where they come from. My only issue is that it is warm inside, but they do have air circulation that helps greatly, but I am also used to the humidity.

Very nice Thai food restaurant. I do enjoyed the meal and it's portion. Staff is very considerate. She will offer us a warm water without we asking. Located in Central Market where you can do indoor shopping for cultural and heritage stuff.

This restaurant has Thai, Indonesian/Malaysian and Western food options because I think it’s a 3 in 1 restaurant. I tried Thai and Indonesian/Malaysian food here which were pretty good. The only issue I had with the restaurant is that it is pretty warm. There doesn’t seem to be any air conditioning, however it is understandable due to it being a sort of open-air environment in Central Market. Staff will sit you near standing fans though.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Price is affordable. Food variety is plenty, thai and indonesian. Tom Yum seafood has plenty of ingredients inside but if you have very acidic tummy, i suggest you don't take it without any rice because it is very sour. Lemongrass drink, asked for no basil and lemon and it came without :) added some honey and it was perfect. Pai Tee bottom part is abit soggy. Mango Salad prefer to have with nuts. Ayam Penyet is not bad. Noodles are nice. Overall decent place for a meal.
